Hola, it's been a little quiet the last few months for Auntie Ducks', whilst my fingers have been busy in other pies. HQ moved to the beautiful olive region of Andalusia for 3 months in the Summer whilst I was busy renovating my townhouse, doing my yoga instructor coursework/training, and basically morphing into a senorita.

Whilst there, I developed an exciting new product named Gypsy Tears. As with all my products, I am the first tester and often brew potions for my own needs, tweaking the recipe until it's ready for market.

Gypsy Tears was born out of my tasty blood, a need for a healing insect repellent/bite relief that doubles up as an after sun, by the end of my trip my Spanish fridge would be incomplete sin a bottle of my magical GT, proving itself vital when I trod on a wasp on my patio receiving a nasty sting, completely healed with a GT foot soak. I also managed to go the last month with barely a mosquito bite, as well as having a bottle of my golden potion on hand to help out anyone that received one. Whilst in Spain, I fostered a fledgling house sparrow that had fallen from a roof and was badly injured and too young to feed herself. I named her Marigold (later, she was joined by Phoenix), healed her, fed her and encouraged her to fly. Both were successfully rehabilitated and rejoined the wild (with mixed emotions for me when they flew the nest). As a result, Calendula (Marigold) was added to the Gypsy Tears recipe giving it its beautiful golden hue. Everything is written.

In my Spanish home, I brewed the recipe using holy moon water from my local church (drank by all the locals, and myself). Unable to bring any home on this occasion it is not yet available for sale, but keep your eyes peeled in the Cabinet of Curiosities next year.

Speaking of which, I will be restocking the online potion shop with new batches of Divine Feminine and Masculine oils very soon. I will also be adding my Lucky potion - Felixir, Divine Feminine bath salts, Parik Tils (Gypsy blessing holders) - choose from Love, Luck, Protection or Health, and my Love Lock hair repair oil, which has seen a delay in the launch due to recipe tweaking. I just can't get along with the Neem oil, so will be substituting for Rose Hip oil, which has a thoroughly more enjoyable scent.

I have a plethora of ideas and products in various stages of development, as well as an upcoming market with Portsmouth Creates, which is on the 6th December in Playland, Commercial Road, Portsmouth (opposite McDonalds). Which I am now preparing for. I was disappointed over Halloween, after the event I had planned to be selling and reading Tarot at was unfortunately cancelled due to low ticket sales, so I am hoping to have a successful day of sales on my dad's birthday in my home city.

Hope to see you there!

Lots of love,

Rebecca
